Brief introduction of VOCs treatment process
For large air volume, low concentration and complex components, VOCs (volatileorganic, compounds) waste gas with no recycling value, priority should be given to the combination process of molecular sieve adsorption, concentration runner and oxidation unit.
The molecular sieve runner can achieve more than 95% VOCs removal rate when the concentration of VOCs gas is below 500mg/Nm3 (800ppm) and the temperature is below 40 DEG C. The molecular sieve adsorption runner is divided into adsorption zone, desorption zone and cooling regeneration zone, and the runner runs continuously at a certain speed.
The adsorption zone: VOCs exhaust gas by multi-stage filtration device after pretreatment, through molecular sieve adsorption rotary adsorption zone (see figure -5), after the zeolite molecular sieve adsorption purification of the clean gas directly through the chimney emissions into the atmosphere.
Desorption zone: when the molecular sieve in the adsorption zone is saturated before adsorption, the rotating wheel turns to the desorption zone, then uses the high temperature hot air to carry out the desorption concentration, the desorption temperature is 180~220 DEG C, and the heat resistant temperature is up to 350 DEG C during the operation. According to the composition and concentration, the rotation speed regulating wheel, can achieve high purification efficiency; setting the adsorption rate and desorption rate can reach VOCs, the ideal concentration ratio (n= (S1 * V1) / (S2 * V2) =5~30), the greatest degree of reduced energy consumption.

Cooling: molecular sieve runner desorbed into the cooling regeneration area, by the cold air or cold gas cooling, the regenerated molecular sieve adsorption to the wheel rotation, continuous adsorption of VOCs gas, and continuous operation.
Thermal oxidation unit: concentrated organic waste gas oxidation fan to thermal oxidation furnace combustion desorbed into carbon dioxide and water vapor emissions to the atmosphere. The common oxidation units matching the molecular sieve runner are heat storage oxidation (RTO) and catalytic oxidation (CO), which are selected according to different working conditions. VOCs thermal oxidation of the heat released in the combustion chamber, some maintain their operation, such as a rich heat for runner desorption use, preheating or recycling, such as used in heat conducting oil boiler or steam boiler using waste heat, the maximum energy saving.
